We're officially an "E for Everybody" title, according to the ESRB! That's great news, although I wasn't really worried on that front. We also received our first set of bugs back from Nintendo. Honestly, I was pretty worried about this one, but overall it wasn't so bad. Now that our manual is fully translated into French and Spanish, and I also have final logos for both the company and the game (yes, logos are hard), all that was left is a couple of small issues that I fixed right away, and one last troubling one that's quite hard to track down. You see, it happens after the game has quit! Somehow, it's possible to crash the game if you hit reset in just the wrong spot and the game quits like it's supposed to, but something triggers a hard lockup. Sigh. These are the kinds of bugs developers dread most, because debuggers don't help you here. It's going to be a fun night.

The good news is, I've got maybe two or three days tops before we make a final submission that has a really solid chance at shipping. Then, finally, we can break out the champagne.
